Garlic Parmesan Quick Bread

QUICK BREAD IS SO SIMPLE
This garlic parmesan bread recipe is a quick bread, which means it’s not made with yeast and doesn’t require any rising time. Baking bread can be intimidating to some, but there is no need with a quick bread! You mix and bake….it couldn’t be easier. A lot of people think of dinner rolls when they think of bread with a meal, but you’re gonna want to change that when you try this one. It really is the perfect addition to any dinner.
KEY INGREDIENTS
- Butter
- Minced garlic
- All-purpose flour
- Baking powderÂ
- Salt
- Black pepperÂ
- Baking sodaÂ
- Shredded parmesan cheeseÂ
- ButtermilkÂ
- Eggs
HOW TO PREPARE
- Preheat oven to 350. Melt the butter along with 2 teaspoons minced garlic in a bowl in the microwave and set aside.  Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, black pepper, baking soda and shredded cheese in a bowl.  Stir in buttermilk and melted butter with the garlic with a spoon. Stir in eggs last. Â
- Spray a 9 x 5 bread pan and add batter. Â Bake for 40 to 45 minutes until center tests done. Â Makes 1 loaf. Â
NOTES
We used the minced garlic you buy in a jar in this recipe. Â Two teaspoons of the jar minced garlic is equivalent to two fresh cloves of garlic if you want to use the fresh.Â

- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 eggs
Instructions
- Melt the butter along with 2 teaspoons minced garlic in a bowl in the microwave and set aside. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, black pepper, baking soda and shredded cheese in a bowl. Stir in buttermilk and melted butter with the garlic with a spoon. Stir in eggs last.
- Spray a 9 x 5 bread pan and add batter. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes until center tests done. Makes 1 loaf.

Are you SURE this calls for only 1 cup of buttermilk? I made this tonight and 1 cup of buttermilk, plus the melted butter, didn’t even get all the dry ingredients incorporated. I added another cup of buttermilk. Anyway, this turned out delicious and I’ll be making it again. I made it to go with a pot of homemade spaghetti sauce. Other than adding the extra buttermilk, I followed the recipe exactly.

Yes, with the stick of butter, 2 eggs and a cup of buttermilk it should be plenty…however all flours are not created equal. So you did right by adding more liquid if you needed it. So glad it turned out for you!!
