Chicken Parmesan Sliders
Ingredients
- 1 26 ounce package crispy chicken tenders I use southern style
- 12 Pepperidge Farm slider butter buns
- 10 slices of provolone cheese
- 6-8 slices of mozzarella
- 1 cup of marinara sauce
- 2 tbsp butter melted
- 1 tsp of minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp minced onion
- 1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning or oregano
- 1-2 Tbsp chopped fresh Italian parsley for garnishing optional
Instructions
- Cook chicken on a sheet pan according to package directions. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9X13 baking dish with non-stick spray. Place the bottom half of the sliders in the pan.
- Top with the slices of provolone cheese (you may have to cut a few slices in half to cover the buns). Spread 1/2 cup marinara sauce over cheese, then arrange chicken pieces on top. Drizzle remaining marinara over the chicken. Top with the mozzarella slices.
- Place the tops of the slider buns over the cheese. In a small bowl, mix butter, garlic, onion, and Italian seasoning. Brush it over the top of the slider buns.
- Lay foil loosely on top. Bake for 20 minutes. Uncover and continue to bake another 3-5 minutes or until lightly golden and cheese has melted.
- Serve with additional warm marinara sauce on the side.
How to Store and Reheat:
These sliders will keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. You can reheat them at 350 in the oven or air fryer.
