We love a good side dish, and this one never disappoints. If you are “team sweet” when it comes to your pasta salads…you’ll love this Hawaiian macaroni salad. The hardest part of preparing this recipe is grating the carrots. So…that makes it a pretty simple recipe. The sweetness of the mayo-based dressing makes this pasta salad. Add this dish to any meal at any time. You won’t be disappointed.

Hawaiian Macaroni Salad
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups of dry elbow pasta
- 1 ½ tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 ¼ cups of grated carrots
- ½ cup of diced celery
Dressing
- ¾ cup of mayo
- ¼ cup of half and half
- 2 tablespoons of grated onion
- 1 teaspoon light brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions, drain and mix in the apple cider vinegar. Set aside and allow to cool. In a separate bowl, mix together dressing ingredients.
- Next combine the pasta and the salad ingredients, top with the dressing and toss evenly. Refrigerate for 2 hours, stir well before serving.

Leftovers?
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. This pasta salad will keep 3-4 days.
