WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE
The blue cheese biscuit bites couldn’t be easier to make, and they are out of this world good. My husband doesn’t even like blue cheese, but he loves this dish! I love appetizers and snacks that can be made in minutes; this one qualifies. They are perfect for any gathering, movie night, game day, etc.
KEY INGREDIENTS
- Pillsbury Grand Biscuits
- Butter
- Blue Cheese Crumbles
- Bacon or Bacon bits
SWAPS
You can easily use any brand of refrigerated biscuits that you like, just make sure they are the large size.
HOW TO MAKE
When I say these are the easiest little treats ever….I mean it!
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Cut biscuits in quarters and arrange them in a greased 9-inch baking pan. We use a pie plate.

3. Melt butter and cheese together and pour over biscuits. Be sure to cover each biscuit.
4. Sprinkle bacon on top and bake for 15-20 minutes or until biscuits are baked through and golden brown. Serve warm.

TIP
If the outside of the biscuits are getting too brown but they still aren’t done, place a piece of aluminum foil over the top of the biscuits and continue baking.
RECIPE VARIATIONS
You could easily add any spices and herbs you like to these biscuits. Blue cheese and walnuts are fantastic together; you could easily sprinkle some chopped nuts on top. I sprinkled it with chopped parsley.
STORING AND REHEATING
Store in an air-tight container for three days. You can easily reheat them in the microwave or place them in the oven at 350 for 5-7 minutes.

Love blue cheese but cannot find Pillsbury Grand Biscuits here so what are my options??
Really want to make this recipe.
Thank you.
This will work fine with any brand of refrigerated biscuits. Thanks!
Already posted a comment and would have given it a 10 star if I could have.
Leigh, when I saw this recipe, I had to stop what I was doing and go make it right away. It looked to me like the best
appetizer that I have ever read about, and after baking it, I was not disappointed. WOW!!! This is appetizer on crack. If I would have allowed myself, I could have stood next to the stove and ate the entire plate. Fellow bakers…go and bake this right away and you will have the best and easiest appetizer to add to your party list. What a great item to have ready for the kids coming in from school or just as a snack for the afternoon coffee. Thanks so much for the recipe. I am already thinking of all the friends to make this for or send it too.
YAY!! We’re thrilled you enjoyed it. People are always shocked at how EASY and how SCRUMPTIOUS this recipe is! It’s definitely a favorite. Thank you so much for the kind comment!
can you use a different cheese
I’m sure you could but with other cheeses it may be a bit greasy, I would cut back on the butter.
