Mini Cinnamon Rolls with Puff Pastry

These quick mini cinnamon rolls are made with puff pastry. They are so simple and always a huge hit!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 (17.3-ounce box) of Puff Pastry (it will be two sheets), thawed
  • 1 egg
  • 5 tablespoons of Brown Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans

Glaze

  • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of milk or heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla flavoring

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, whisk the egg. Take one sheet of the puff pastry and roll it into an 11X7 rectangle on a flour-dusted surface.
  • Brush the pastry with the egg and then sprinkle 2 1/2 tablespoons of brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon over the pastry. Spread to the edges.
  • Tightly roll up the pastry, starting at the long size. Using a sharp knife, cut into 10-12 pieces and place on baking sheet. Repeat with the other sheet. Brush the tops of the cut cinnamon rolls with the remainder of the egg and sprinkle with pecans. Bake for 18-22 minutes.

Glaze Instructions:

  • mix together and drizzle over warm cinnamon rolls.
