Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter or 2 sticks softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Topping

  • vanilla ice cream
  • chocolate syrup

Instructions
 

  • Beat together butter, brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla extract and eggs until creamy using a mixer. Whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
  • Combine flour mixture with butter and eggs and continue mixing. Stir in oats and chocolate chips with a spoon.
  • Press evenly into a sprayed 12 inch skillet. Bake in a preheated 355 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
