We created the magazine we couldn’t find.
Every magazine we picked up felt like it was written for someone else. Other lifestyle magazines always seemed to feature homes that don’t feel lived in, complicated recipes made to impress rather than enjoy, and a version of life that looks beautiful, but doesn’t feel real.

We’re Leigh and Anne – twin sisters raised in rural Kentucky, where our lives revolved around people, food, and the simple rhythms of everyday living.
We’ve spent years cooking, writing, and sharing recipes through our family business, The Southern Lady Cooks. But at some point, we realized recipes were only part of the story.
