Servings 48 stuffing balls

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bacon cooked and diced
  • 1 pound of pork breakfast sausage
  • 6- ounce box of stuffing mix + ingredients to make stuffing (we used Stove Top Savory Herbs)
  • 3 cups of cheddar cheese shredded
  • Cranberry Sauce (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Prepare stuffing mix according to package instructions. Let cool for a few minutes. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix until well combined.
  • Roll into balls (about the size of a walnut) and line on baking sheet. Be sure they are tightly rolled so they stay together. Bake for 25 minutes until cooked through. Makes about 48 balls depending on the size you make them.

Notes

We dipped them in cranberry sauce. If your mixture is a bit dry and you feel like your sausage balls won't stay together, just add a bit of water or broth to your mixture to add moisture.
