Knock You Naked Bars

Leigh Walkup
These Knock You Naked Bars are absolutely delicious. Most are made with a chocolate cake mix but this one is prepared with a Butter Pecan cake mix!

Ingredients

  • 1 15.2 ounce Butter Pecan Cake Mix
  • 1/2 cup of chopped pecans
  • 1/3 cup + 1/2 cup of evaporated milk divided
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter
  • 11- ounce package of Kraft Caramel Bits

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350. Spray a 9X9 baking dish. In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, pecans, 1/3 cup of evaporated milk, and melted butter. This will make a very different type of batter; it will look dry. Press HALF of the batter into the bottom of the 9X9. Place in oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  • Over medium heat, melt caramel and the remaining evaporated milk on top of the stove. Stirring continuously until melted and starts to thicken. Pour caramel over the baked batter. Place in the refrigerator for around 30 minutes or until the caramel hardens. Press the remaining batter on top of the caramel (just kind of drop it and spread it the best you can) and bake for another 20-25 minutes. Let them cool before cutting.
