1 1/2sticks butter or 12 tablespoons or 3/4 cup softened
1cupsugar
2eggs
3cupsall-purpose flour
3teaspoonsbaking powder

1 1/4cupsof milk or buttermilk

Crumb Topping Ingredients
3/4th cup brown sugarlight or dark
2teaspoonsof ground cinnamon
½cupof buttermelted
1 ½cupsof all purpose flour

Topping Instructions
Mix brown sugar, cinnamon and melted butter together, until well combined. Add in the flour, use a fork to gently combine until crumbs form. You don’t want to over mix, just mix until you have crumbs. Place in refrigerator while you make the muffin batter.
Muffin Instructions
Using mixer, cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs and continue mixing. Add remaining ingredients and mix until you have a smooth batter. Spray a muffin pan and fill each cup 1/2 full. Spoon topping onto each muffin.
Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 35 minutes or until browned. Remove and let cool. Makes about 18 muffins depending on size you make them.
